The future leadership of The United Methodist Church relies on your gifts.  The Methodist Global Education Fund for Leadership Development is designed to develop leaders and strengthen the role of 775 Methodist-affiliated secondary schools, colleges, universities, and theological schools in 69 countries.  As a force for global stability and progress we can make a difference together in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States.

The Methodist Global Education Fund for Leadership Development has three primary innovative initiatives:

1. Technical Assistance Program

Through this program, Methodist-affiliated institutions request assistance in creating leadership programs to address the needs of local clergy or lay leaders.  Your faithful support underwrites the cost of technical assistance for the leadership programs.

2. Methodist Scholars Program

Having an onsite mentor to help develop leaders is a critical component to success.  The Methodist Scholars Program will place leaders in institutions that request their guidance.  Your contributions will cover the travel costs and benefits to the scholar.

3. The Scholarship Program
Leadership development programs need quality students from all backgrounds.  The Methodist Global Education Fund for Leadership Development will provide direct scholarship funding to institutions participating in the Technical Assistance and Scholars Program on a matching-grant basis.
